The team has two decades of experience with low-power wireless networking, including several award-winning real-world deployments. In NG-UWB, the team led the project and was involved in all the research objectives, contributing its long-standing core expertise on UWB communication as well as ranging and localization.

UNIBS participates with the team of Prof. Stefano Rinaldi, from the Department of Information Engineering (DII). The team has two decades of experience with sensor interface ciruits and digital communications, with a special attention to industrial applications and time synchronization. In NG-UWB, the team was mainly involved in wired anchor synchronization and in the synergy of Bluetooth and UWB tasks, contributing its core expertise on time synchronization as well as Bluetooth communication.

UNIMI  participates with the team of Prof. Maria Luisa Damiani, from the Department of Computer Science. The team has an important experience on mobile data management, protection and analysis. In NG-UWB, the team was involved in the development of a system for decision-making support in museums, contributing its core expertise on mobility data science.

POLITO   

POLITO participates with the Interdepartmental Centre of Service Robotics (PIC4SeR) coordinated by Prof. Marcello Chiaberge, member of the Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET). The centre is focused on technologies used for localization, mapping and navigations of autonomous aerial/terrestrial/subsea vehicles (UGV, UAV, ROV). In NG-UWB, the team was involved in the use of UWB technology for cooperative positioning techniques in different scenarios (agriculture, space, aerial-terrestrial cooperative operations).
